The lighting industry has come a long way since the first screw-in light bulb. Now we have floor lighting, wall lighting and the most tried and true, ceiling lighting.
In fact, we can now buy appliances with lighting added to it, like bathroom vanities, or bathroom mirrors. Even ovens have lights. Such is the world of invention and technology.
Even the faithful light bulb seems dull in comparison to the wide selection we now have to choose from.
What is even more exciting in this illuminating world of light is the fact that conventional lighting is being replaced by more upmarket trends and now need to cater to the changing styles of many homes. Now we have homes with high ceilings that would require chandeliers or pendants to light the room or dropped ceilings where fluorescent lighting may be used.
As you can see, the wide selection of lighting for ceilings can range from chandeliers, pendant lights, recessed lighting, or Kitchler Lighting 2012, but it’s still a far cry from the basic screw in light bulb.
So whatever we choose to light our homes we need to ensure that it compliments not only the furniture but also the decor.
It must also be appropriate and functional for the surroundings while still giving the air of elegance and style.
Dim lighting may seem elegant but unless it is practical to see by, it’s a waste of money. So always ensure you choose wisely.
